Ready, Set Go…and Keep Going!
Yup, that’s how I’ve felt over the last 2 weeks. I’ve shifted so far from my goal of writing 2-3 times per week, but I have so much to tell you (keep reading!). Life has been so busy. Not bad busy, great busy…the type of busy that you can actually enjoy. From recitals to graduating Kindergarten, I haven’t been able to even have a cup of Caramel Macchiato – now you know that’s a damn lie (lol). I just wanted to make sure you were paying attention (wink).
Actually, Caramel Macchiato is what kept me going…
Madison did it AGAIN!
For the 2nd year in a row, Madison showed us her dancing skills in Core Dance Academy’s Dance Recital. The best parental moment in life is watching your child be happy. Her recital was so coordinated and well put together. Kudos to the dance instructors and staff at Core Dance Academy for putting on an amazing production. I have yet to be disappointed in any of their productions.
Madison’s 1st Gymnastics Exhibition
My daughter absolutely loves Gabby Douglass! She knows the entire movie and loves everything gymnastics literally. So as parents, what do we do? You should know the answer to this question. We enrolled Madison into a local gymnastics program. Unfortunately, we came into the class as they were prepping for an upcoming exhibition. To my surprise, Madison jumped right in and learned the routine to participate in the exhibition in less than 3 weeks.
Madison is growing up…
Oh boy…get the tissue…HERE COMES THE FIRST GRADER. When Madison was a baby, people would always say “cherish every moment, time flies”. That is probably the truest statement I’ve ever heard. It seems like yesterday when I was rocking her to sleep holding a bottle. She’s developing so fast, it’s scary. The truth is…I try not to think about it.
